Where to stay in Caslino d'Erba

A B&B with heated pool on the hills above Lake Como

Where to stay in Caslino d'Erba
Triangolo Lariano

Caslino d'Erba is a village in the Valassina valley, at the heart of the Triangolo Lariano: the strip of land between the two branches of Lake Como. It is an ideal base to visit Como, Bellagio and the lakeside villages while staying away from the lakefront traffic, with the added benefit of a railway station on the line to Milan.

Why choose Villa Galli

Heated pool and park. A heated pool with jacuzzi set in a centuries-old park: a rare luxury for a property of this size.

Private on-site parking. A parking space on the property, reserved and always available, without the parking hunt typical of the lakeside villages.

Direct train to Milan
Distances

Direct train to Milan. Caslino d'Erba station is a few minutes on foot, on the Milano Cadorna–Asso line: you can reach central Milan without a car.

A period residence. An early twentieth-century villa carefully restored, with regally named rooms and the feel of a private home rather than a hotel.

Caslino d’Erba is a village of two thousand people on the road climbing from Erba towards Asso, with the river Lambro below and the woods of the Triangolo Lariano above. It is not a tourist resort, and that is exactly why it works: the summer weekend traffic stays down on the lakeside, and here in the evening all you hear is the stream.

Within ten minutes by car there is Lake Segrino with the cycle path that loops around it, the trails of Monte Cornizzolo, and the towns of Canzo and Asso with their shops and Thursday market. Shopping, the pharmacy and the bar are a walk away; the lake, the station and the motorway are ten minutes by car.
